Senior Logistics Engineer/Analyst SAP EWM/WM/IM Functional Processes SME/COE Senior Global Lead Tennant Company (August 2015 to March 2017) Primarily responsible for the development and implementation of model based solutions to improve and deliver globally recognized best practices in both internal and external logistics processes covering the areas of Supply Chain Distribution and Logistics. The fundamentals will require in depth analysis of the current processes with the aim of changing and or improving processes to benefit cost and efficiency metrics harmonizing towards common global processes and aligning with global best practices. Stakeholder involvement will be with Service Sales and IT among others. Will be engaged in both local and global Supply Chain related project in which the Logistics Engineer will represent and lead business technical and procedural change. * Based on local or global focus areas my role will analyze Distribution and Logistics processes to identify opportunities of cost of $23 million dollars in inventory and process efficiency improvements to ensure company optimizes supply chain to support $1 billion dollars plus business. The Logistics engineer will lead the communication with stakeholders to develop programs to introduce the changes and lead the change through the migration process handing over the new process to operational business role. Manage 20 personnel in Inventory/Quality Management to ensure processes in continuous counting method are done efficient and effective along with developing programs internally to reduce notification with quality mishaps to external customers and returns. My role represents North America Supply Chain (Distribution/Logistics) in local & global technical (SAP) projects and lead the local logistics group through change and process migration. Engage local and global 'business analyst' support representing the needs of the 'local Distribution and Logistics operation to the IT and or consulting staff. This will involve developing new (best practice) structures and environment in an SAP (WM/IM and EWM) environment for all North America locations and assist in defining supply chain processes with counterparts in Europe Asia Canada and South America. Downsized after 20th months due to company restructuring and business uncertainty in transitioning to SAP EWM solution to help align its warehouse logistics execution and outbound processes. Lead SAP WM/IM Functional/Technical Configurator/Analyst/Architect-HD Supply-San Diego CA (March 14 to June 15) Perform requirements gathering design configuration build test and documentation activities for packaged software applications which is part of a team to deliver large scale business solutions or enhancement projects for SAP WM/IM learning EWM. Providing guidance as SME trouble shooting for the use of best industry practices in WM configuration (Growing to 6 warehouses additional a year) in support which helps the organization in maintaining a 98% customer service rating with consumers and other businesses that use our products and services. Implemented auto replenishment configuration and Dynamic Cycle Counting during tenure to embrace the use of standard functionality. Responsible for support of DC relocations while business continues to run day to day in old operation and other task heavily supporting WM related tasks from participating in answering help desk tickets at times if functional business team cannot solution. * Use SAP Solution Manager to track configuration requirements testing and design of functional processes. Been given a recent task directed by the COO of HD Supply to look at streamlining the receiving processes related to IT for the company DC's operations which business has adopted along with adding a mobile cart solution for Inbound receiving. Reviewed archiving steps for shipments deliveries and HU using SARA transaction. * HD Supply is one of the largest industrial distributors in North America. Downsized from position after several company restructuring/reorganizations of personnel by business during my tenure of the last 15 months.
