• In the first 6 months in role, served as a leader in the $100m acquisition of Grand River, led company to a successful IPO in November and completed several SEC filings between October and April including an 8-K, 10-K and 10-Q. • Served as the main point of contact for a KPMG-led public company readiness project which involved setting strict close timelines, drafting and implementation of internal control procedures as well as formalizing a monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliation process. • Successfully led GBS's efforts around 3 major divestments within Fuels North America. • Identified duplication of work between refinery finance staff and the shared service organization on monthly close process that resulted in the reduction of staff from 9 to 6. • Represented GBS as the global lead for the Mexico Fuels Retail expansion. o Created a complete, flexible finance organization that used contract staff to support the retail site growth from 0 to 500 locations in 18 months.
