I've worked in the IT industry for the past 20 years. I have an Associates Degree in Information Systems, and am finishing my degree requirements for my Bachelor of Science in Business/Management. My IT career started when I was an intern at IBM/ROLM while I was still in school. I've advanced my career working for many major companies such as IBM, Lockheed Martin, NxTrend, MCI Worldcom, Alcatel, Compaq and Hewlett Packard. Having spent so much time in the IT world, I'd like to move away from a technical role, into a position that is more closely related to the business and management side.

Provide proactive and reactive technical support, account problem management, and other assistance in a Tru64 Unix and HP-UX environment for multiple remote mission critical accounts. Coordinate the support efforts among various technical teams and individual resources to ensure a timely response to reported customer issues to meet specified service level agreements. Interface with local and field management teams as well as sales, support and engineering groups and escalate / elevate problems as needed to provide problem resolution and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide proactive notification of any patches, advisories, security bulletins, etc. and give assistance/advise in use of proactive tools to help customer prevent problems before they occur, thereby increasing availability and minimizing customer downtime. While performing functions of TAM, I traveled onsite to customer locations annually to interface directly with customerís technology team, to further enhance the relationships we have with the customer.
