Through extensive exposure to the restaurant culture I have been able to develop the communication skills necessary to lead and inspire other service minded people. Staff and management development are two areas at which I excel. By fostering an attitude of team work, and support I have been a part of changing the overall culture of my work environment(s). An attention to details has enabled me to improve on product management by focusing on employee efficiency, and severely limiting waste. By adhering to proper recipe execution, as well as focusing on the proper shipping, receiving, and holding of product I have been able to aide in the increased quality of the end product. By eliminating waste, and improving the quality of the final product while reducing labor cost I have been able to impact the gross margin in a positive manner. My extensive knowledge of various cuisines has been a valuable asset in my experiences as a recipe developer, and a menu planner.
