I’m a successful global sales management executive with extensive experience creating and managing direct and channels sales organizations that have consistently surpassed sales and profit objectives selling hardware, plumbing and building materials in as many as 40 countries on 6 continents. In my present assignment as Vice President Retail Sales with Cerro A Berkshire Hathaway Company, I’ve created a winning sales and profit improvement strategy that has led my division to it’s highest sales and profitability throughout a recessionary period. Throughout my career, I have built lasting relationships and negotiated with some of the largest retailers in the US and International markets including Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, Ace, True Value, Do It Best, Target, Meijers, Castorama,, Leroy Merlin, OBI, Bauhaus, and. I am honored to be a member of the prestigious Home Depot Advisory Board. As VP, Global Sales with Plastics Research Corp., I created the strategic plan, then built and led domestic and international sales teams to open markets around the world for building products and lawn and garden products, achieving annual sales of $90M. Earlier, at Wing Industries, the largest manufacturer of interior pine doors, I led the US sales organization, established and managed the International Division, and grew sales from $100M to $150M. At this time, I am interested in exploring new challenges and opportunities where my proven sales, business development, and P&L management skills can provide meaningful contributions to sales and earnings.
